Puerto Madryn, usually known as Madryn, is a city in the province of Chubut in Argentine Patagonia. It is the capital of the Viedma Department, and has about 103,175 inhabitants according to the last census in 2022.

Nestled on the shores of the Golfo Nuevo, Puerto Madryn is the gateway to the Valdes Peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But that's not all Puerto Madryn has to offer. The city is also known for its excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities, thanks to the crystal-clear waters of the Golfo Nuevo. You can explore underwater rock formations and swim alongside colorful fish and other marine life.
